Rwanda shocked Benin in the AFCON 2025 Game Week 4 qualifiers. Coming into this match, Rwanda had only two points.
Andreas Hountondji put Benin ahead in the 42nd minute, but two second-half goals from Innocent Nshuti and Djihad Bizimana gave Rwanda the three points.
As a result, Nigeria tops Group D with a game in hand, while Libya remains at the bottom, even if CAF awards them three points.
Nigeria will face Benin on the 11th of November, and a win will be crucial for both sides to progress to the group stages of AFCON 2025.
