Bilal Touré’s dramatic 92nd-minute strike earned Stuttgart a crucial victory over Juventus, marking their first win in the UEFA Champions League after a 16-year absence from European football’s top tier. This victory followed a defeat to Real Madrid and a draw against Sparta Praha in their opening two matches.

Stuttgart, clearly the hungrier side, dominated key moments of the game. Striker Deniz Undav had a goal ruled out in the 50th minute, while Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin denied Enzo Millot from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute. Earlier, Undav had also rattled the post in the 29th minute.

Touré’s late goal not only secured the three points but also relieved the mounting pressure on Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeneß, snapping a four-game winless streak across all competitions. The win puts Stuttgart on four points, while Juventus, under new coach Thiago Motta, remains on six. This was Juventus’ first defeat under Motta, who took charge of the team this summer.
