A veteran Yoruba actor, Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, otherwise known as Agbako, has died at the age of 102 on Wednesday.
The President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, fondly called Mr Latin, confirmed the death of Agbako on Thursday morning

TAMPAN president post read:“announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO. Details of the burial arrangements will be shared at a later time. Good night father, 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024.”
In 2023, Nollywood stars stormed the capital of Ogun state, Abeokuta, to celebrate the veteran’s 100 birthday.
