Final Wrap of Game week 13 of the NPFL

Ikorodu City continued their impressive run with a crucial point on the road against Niger Tornadoes. Rivers United edged past Abia Warriors with a narrow 1-0 victory to climb to the top of the NPFL standings. Meanwhile, Enyimba’s clash with Sunshine Stars was postponed because of their continental clash during the week.

Remo Stars’ title aspirations suffered a significant setback after falling to a 2-0 defeat away to Katsina United.

The highlight of the weekend came from 44-year-old Rabiu Ali, who showcased his brilliance with a stunning 50-yard free-kick in Kano Pillars’ thrilling 2-2 draw with Lobi Stars. The veteran midfielder has now taken his goal tally to eight this season, proving age is just a number.
