Ikorodu City Stun Katsina United For First NPFL Win Of The Season

Ikorodu City secured their first win of the NPFL season with an impressive 2-1 victory over Katsina United, ending Katsina’s two-year unbeaten record at home. This achievement adds to Ikorodu City coach Nurudeen Aweroro’s remarkable season, which has included shattering Rivers United’s unbeaten run and defeating a side managed by Nigerian legend Daniel Amokachi on his home ground.
Elsewhere, Remo Stars dropped points in a goalless draw against Enyimba, while Rivers United suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this season after a 1-0 defeat to Bayelsa United. The loss leaves Rivers United unable to close the gap with leaders Remo Stars.
