Victor Osimhen scored in Galatasaray’s draw over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League. Sven Mijnans gave the Dutch side an early lead before Osimhen equalised for Galatasaray.
18-year-old Dutch talent Kees Smit was sent off after he received a 2nd yellow in stoppage time.
Osimhen thought he had won it for Galatasaray in stoppage time after the ball found the back of the net, but it was ruled out for offside.
After the match, Osimhen promised the Galatasaray fans: “I said I would score a goal against AZ Alkmaar, and I did. I promise you one more thing: I will bring the UEFA Cup to Turkey.”
Galatasaray are fourth on the UEFA Europa League table with 11 points.
