TINUBU REVEALS EXCITEMENT HEARING MACRON INTERNSHIP YEAR IN NIGERIA INSPIRES HIM STILL

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in response to France Emmanuel Macron’s welcoming post in Pidgin English to his country saying it’s a thing of joy to recall his internship year in Nigeria at a younger age.
“E still dey sweet me well well as I remember say I be young intern for French Embassy for Nigeria that time.” President Macron reminisced
Tinubu had replied that it excited him to hear the memories Macron had in Nigeria still inspire the president to want to forge a stronger bond with the country while appreciating his warm gesture upon arrival.
He went further to state reasons why both nations need to continue partnering, his Pidgin English response read: “Merci beaucoup, President Macron @EmmanuelMacron. Na big privilege to dey strengthen dis bond wey join Nigeria and France together.
“E sweet me well well to hear say di memories of your time as young intern for Nigeria still dey inspire you. E show say di connection between our two countries strong and go continue dey strong.
“We must to continue dey build dis our partnership wey stand for mutual respect and equality, wey go help di dreams of our people today and create better future for tomorrow.
“Thanks for di warm welcome and fruitful meetings, my padi!” he stated referring to the bond of friendship between the two
The Nigerian president alongside his wife, Oluremi had arrived in Paris on Wednesday evening for a landmark three-day State Visit aimed at deepening the relationship between Nigeria and France. 
The visit, which officially began on Thursday see President Tinubu welcomed at the historic Les Invalides by French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron. 
The leaders will engage in high-level talks at the Palais de l’Élysée, focusing on a broad spectrum of key areas, including agriculture, security, education, health, youth development, and energy transition.
A key highlight of the visit is the emphasis on youth development, with both Presidents committed to expanding youth exchange programs and fostering expertise in automation, entrepreneurship, and leadership. 
Their discussions will also address shared priorities such as trade and investment, finance, and solid minerals, promising transformative outcomes for both nations.
