Beskitas have fired Giovanni van Bronckhorst following the club 3-1 loss to Macabbi Tel Aviv in the UEFA Europa League.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst was appointed on the 5th of June 2024 . He managed 18 games as Beskitas head coach in which he won 9, drew 3 and lost 6.

The highlight of his time with Beskitas was winning the Turkish Super Cup beating Galatasaray 5-0. He leaves the club in fifth in the Süper Lig and 22nd in the Europa League.

Beskitas will have to pay the Dutch manager a compensation of £2.5m according to his contract.
