Injury Woes for Arsenal as Bukayo Saka Goes Out for Eight Weeks Due To Torn Hamstring

Bukayo Saka is reportedly set to miss eight weeks after sustaining a torn hamstring during Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Following the game, Saka was seen on crutches, raising serious concerns among fans.

This injury comes as a blow for Arsenal, as Saka has been instrumental this season with 22 goal contributions in 24 games.

Mikel Arteta expressed his disappointment over the situation, stating: “It’s not looking good. He’s going to be out for many weeks. It’s a huge blow, but it’s going to be a big exercise for us to overcome another challenge.”

Saka’s absence means he could miss crucial games for Arsenal, including the first leg of the Carabao Cup on January 7 and the FA Cup tie against Manchester United on the 12th of January 2025. Adding to Arsenal’s injury woes, Raheem Sterling is also set to be sidelined for several weeks, further compounding Arteta’s challenges during a critical period of the season.
