Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja warned anyone who violate Nigeria law will be punished accordingly.
The Police PRO stated this in a post on his verified X account, adding further that the law does not give room for sentimentality especially when the police have to carry out their assigned duties.
According to Adejobi: “Every action described to be a crime or an offence by our law remains criminal and punishable. The Police will arrest, investigate, and prosecute any violator (suspect).
“So, it’s laughable when some people criticise the police for carrying out its mandate. Let’s be reminded that there is no sentiment in the law, and the law will always take its course.” He concluded.
