Manchester City’s Nightmare Continues as Juventus Win against English Side in the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus compiled misery on Manchester City as they beat the English side 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League. Manchester City had dominated the first half, but they failed to trouble the Juventus goal.

Manchester City’s best chance of the half came when Kevin De Bruyne set Erling Haaland up, but the Norwegian couldn’t put the ball past Michele Di Gregorio.

Manchester City continued to dominate play, but it was Juventus that took the lead in the 53rd minute through Dusan Vlahovic. Gatti’s acrobatic effort was saved by Éderson. The Manchester City defense cleared the ball recklessly, and it fell to Kenan Yıldız, who played a cross into the box to Vlahovic, who headed it home.

Manchester City intensified play, trying to get an equalizer, but it was difficult to get past the resolute Juventus defense. However, Juventus put the game beyond doubt after Timothy Weah and Weston McKennie combined to double Manchester City’s lead, making it the first time in UEFA Champions League history that two players from the USA have combined for a goal.

The result meant Manchester City sit 22nd in the Champions League and have only one win in their last ten games in all competitions.
