The 2022 Labour Party Presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi has donated 10 laptops and a printer to a school in Adamawa state upon his visit, to enhance learning.
Obi hinted that the act of equipping schools with appropriate learning tools is geared towards building a better future and country.
The former governor who had posted on social media urged: “This is the type of commitment we need for sustainable growth and the advancement of our society.”
He went to opined that in bridging digital divide then such initiative is needed.
His post read: “I met with the students of Saint Augustine College, Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa state and provided them with learning equipment in the form of 10 laptops and a printer to enhance their literacy in computer science and information technology.
“Supporting education by equipping students with the right tools and resources is not just a responsibility but a necessity for building a better future. Their enthusiasm for learning was both encouraging and inspiring.
“I am convinced that initiatives like this are vital for empowering the next generation, bridging the digital divide, and fostering innovation and excellence in our schools.” Obi added
