Al Nassr has reached a total agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the signing of Victor Boniface in a deal worth over €60 million, as confirmed by German journalist Florian Plettenberg. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker has already completed his medical and agreed to personal terms with the Saudi Arabian club, securing a net salary of around €15 million per season.
Boniface is set to join Al Nassr immediately, where he would have the opportunity to partner with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo in attack. However, despite the verbal agreement and the completion of his medical, the move is yet to be officially finalized.
According to Plettenberg, Al Nassr is also in negotiations for Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán and is yet to make a final choice between the two forwards. According to Plettenberg Aston Villa has received an offer of approximately €70 million for Durán, with his agents certain about sealing a move to Saudi Arabia. This situation has created confusion, with Bayer Leverkusen still awaiting the final signatures to complete Boniface’s transfer.
Leverkusen is looking for a replacement for the Nigerian striker , and Evan Ferguson has emerged as a potential target before the transfer window closes.
