Burkina Faso Talent Issa Kaboré Signs on Loan Until the End of the Season

Werder Bremen has signed Burkina Faso international Issa Kaboré on loan until the end of the season.

Kaboré has struggled to impress under Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola. The Burkina Faso international has already gone on loan to five different clubs.

Kaboré will be hoping to make an impression in the Bundesliga to secure a chance at parent club, Manchester City.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to pressure, having been capped more than 40 times for Burkina Faso. He has also featured in two African Cup of Nations tournaments, where he was named Young Player of the Tournament in the 2021 edition.

Werder Bremen’s head coach, Ole Werner, was full of praise for Kaboré, describing him as a technically gifted player. “I’m very happy that we’ve managed to bring in Issa so quickly and at short notice. He’s a technically gifted player who possesses both strength and speed. His arrival gives us greater tactical flexibility, and we are confident he’ll integrate seamlessly into our squad.”

Kaboré expressed his excitement about playing in the Bundesliga. “The Bundesliga is one of the best leagues in the world. I like how the fans here and at Werder always create a really good atmosphere,” he said.

Kaboré could make his debut for the German outfit on January 12th, when they face RB Leipzig.
