Danilo Bids Farewell to Juventus, Leaves Club After Six Years

Brazilian international Danilo has left Juventus after six years at the club. The player agreed to have his contract terminated and will leave without receiving the remainder of his salary.

During his time with the Old Lady, Danilo won five trophies, including one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles, and one Supercoppa Italiana title.

The 33 year old bid farewell to the club with a message on Instagram: “I knew this day would come sooner or later, but you’re never ready to say goodbye.”

Danilo will return to his home country to join Flamengo on a two-year deal. He is expected to be a key member of their squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which is set to start on June 15, 2025.
