Florentino Pérez has been re-elected as Real Madrid’s president, running unopposed in the 2025 election. The 77-year-old’s current term will run until 2029.
This marks the fifth consecutive election Pérez has won without opposition, following similar instances in 2013, 2017, 2021, and now 2025.
Pérez first assumed the presidency of Real Madrid in 2000, serving until 2006 before returning in 2009. Under his leadership, the club has enjoyed remarkable success, securing 37 trophies, including a record-breaking seven UEFA Champions League titles—the most under any president in the club’s history.
