Hakim Ziyech Joins Al-Duhail on a Free Transfer

Hakim Ziyech has completed a move to Qatari side Al-Duhail on a free transfer. The Moroccan international, a UEFA Champions League winner with Chelsea, has earned 64 caps for his national team. He was also a key part of Morocco’s historic squad that reached the FIFA World Cup semi-finals for the first time in 2022.

Al-Duhail officially announced Ziyech’s signing on their Instagram handle, stating:

*”The administration of Al-Duhail Sports Club has successfully secured the signature of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, who chose our offer over several other professional opportunities.

His addition strengthens our attacking line, given his vast experience and distinguished career with the Moroccan national team, which began in 2015. He has also played for top European clubs, including Chelsea, Ajax, Twente, Heerenveen, and Galatasaray, before joining Al-Duhail.

Al-Duhail warmly welcomes the veteran Moroccan Lion, Hakim Ziyech, and wishes him a successful and achievement-filled journey with the team.”*
