A mom identified as @AbiaPrincess_X has cried out to Lagos State for help as her little girl never went back home from school alive.
The bereaved mom had taken to her X social media platform on Thursday calling out “ Smiley School international Sangotedo Lagos island” to return her baby back to her as she cautioned other parents who still have their children and wards in the school.
“Please bring her back we can’t bear this alone. Please if you have your child in that school be aware they lied that they are closed due to maintenance I lost my pinky Ella”
AbiaPrincess narrated that the school had told her the toddler drowned in a pool, however she refuted it stating that the baby died of electrocution and the school dipped the corpse in a pool to suggest she had drowned in it.
“How do you have a pool in school premises without proper monitoring? They lied she drowned in the pool but we have been able to find out it’s Electrocution, and they dropped her in the pool to look as if it was drowning.
“The pool has barricades how can a child of 2yrs climb? “she queried.
The mother of the deceased is seeking for justice for her baby who clocked two a few months back, calling out Lagos state government while tagging other activist to her post
“Dear Lagos state Government Our daughter of 2years old went to school yesterday and did not return alive.
“Please help us get Justice for our baby she just celebrated her 2yr birthday November last year, left home well for school on 15/1/2024 and never came back alive.”
she stated that the school had lied to other parents that its temporarily closed down because they want to carry out maintenance, she urged others to be vigilant
“Now they are lying to other parents that school is closed because of maintenance instead of telling the truth. If nothing is done to close down that school other parents may cry for their own kids attending the school.”
