Napoli are reportedly eyeing Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi as a potential alternative to Alejandro Garnacho. The Italian side has been looking for replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who recently joined Paris Saint-Germain.

Napoli has not been able to reach an agreement with Manchester United for Garnacho, with the English giants demanding £75 million.

As a result, the Partenopei have turned their attention to Adeyemi, with a deal that looks more feasible. Talks between Napoli and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly centered on a package worth €45–50 million. Napoli has approached Adeyemi’s representatives to discuss potential contract terms, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Garnacho has 12 goal contributions for Manchester United this season. His style fits perfectly into the winger profile that Napoli manager Antonio Conte wants. Meanwhile Adeyemi has registered eight goal contributions this season but has struggled for regular game time, making just 13 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
