Detroit based rapper and plus size influencer Dank Demoss has filed a lawsuit against Lyft (a transportation network in North America) when one of its driver refused to give her a ride due to her 489 pounds weight.

A worried driver by the name Abraham had apologized for refusing to give her the ride, says she “wont fit in the car” as it cant handle her weight

Demoss claims in her lawsuit that her weight based denial of a ride is discrimination.

She says she is taking action against Lyft to fight for her people and to “change the world.”

“If I stand for something, I’ll fall for anything. Fighting for my community, my people, and making a change in the world, not just for me, but for everyone.”
