In the early hours of yesterday, some Muslim youth caught a young boy in Ashaiman, Washington Accra, using pages from the Quran as toilet paper to defecate in a nearby bush.
EDHUB reported that the Muslim youth noticed over time that pages from the Quran were used as toilet paper by unidentified individuals in a bush frequently used by locals for defecation.
This prompted them to report the unfortunate behaviour to the Imam of the area, and after several days of monitoring, they caught the young man red-handed.
The Muslim youth questioned the young man about how he acquired the Quran. He explained that his late father was a Muslim and that it had been in his room for some time.
He also confessed that he is a Christian and does not have much knowledge about the Quran.
