Galatasaray has completed the signing of Poland international Przemysław Frankowski from RC Lens on loan until the end of the season. The deal includes a loan fee of approximately €1 million, with Galatasaray having the option to make the move permanent for €7 million if certain conditions are met.
Frankowski had to push for the transfer as Lens were reluctant to let the 29-year-old leave. In an effort to force the move, he refused to train or play, leaving the French club with no choice but to sanction his departure.
The right-back traveled to Istanbul on Monday for his medical, which he successfully completed.
Frankowski is expected to make his debut against AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League.
