The Lagos State police command public relations officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin in a post acknowledged that the alleged kidnappers caught at Victory Estate Ago Palace was not reportedly to the police, however it will take it up.
In the video, there had been three men who claimed that they had come to the state for the sole purpose of kidnapping, while they were being beaten and pardoned by unseen faces, asking if they will come back again.
Hundeyin mentioned that the Executives of the estate are given the force all the necessary support to get to the root of the matter and would inform the public of the outcome in due time.
In his words: “This matter was not reported to the Police. However, investigations have commenced to unravel what truly transpired, locate the men and take further necessary actions.
“The estate chairman, two other exco members and a resident are currently assisting the Police with the ongoing investigations. Further updates will be provided in due course.”
