Michael Amir Murillo has extended his contract with Olympique Marseille till June 2028.

 Amir Murillo joined the French side in the summer of 2023 from RSC Anderlecht.

He has made 50 appearances since he joined the club with 25 of them coming this season. He has been a key figure under club head coach Roberto De Zerbi. The Centre Back has a goal and two assists to his name.

However he missed Marseille’s 1-0 win against Lens due to a hamstring injury. He is expected to be out for five weeks keeping him out until after the international break.

Marseille currently sits second 16 points behind Paris Saint Germain in the Ligue 1 standings. They have been impressive this season with 15 wins, four losses and six draws.
