Enthusiast Gifts Convener Of Chess In The Slum Africa, A Specially Design Chessboard For Exemplary Work And Dedication To Humanity

Dave Fusino of Massachusetts United States, approached the convener of Chess in the Slum Africa, Tunde Onakoya to gift him with a specially designed, one of a kind chessboard for his exemplary work in saving the less privileged through the game of chess, affording them the gift of making their dreams come to reality.

According to the Nigerian chess coach: “Just before my chess masterclass at Harvard began, a man approached me with a gift. His name is Dave, and he’s been following our work for three years.

“He had designed a special chessboard for me and presented it along with a heartfelt note for the team

“A true wonder. I’m humbled.” He added.

Flabbergasted Onakoya had shared the note that came with the beautifully intricate chessboard stating: “Here’s the note he put in the chess board. Incredible human. Genius designer.

 “You must get lost to learn” I’ll remember these words and this moment fondly.” He told his followers on X
