A Palestinian family from Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, left their home to attend an Iftar, the meal breaking their Ramadan fast, on Sunday evening.
Ten minutes later, they received a call from their neighbours telling them Jewish settlers had taken over their house.
They returned to find the settlers had occupied the house and removed the family’s possessions outside, while guarded by Israeli soldiers who refused to let them re-enter.
The settlers claimed they had purchased the house, which the Palestinian family denied.
