The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his relentless effort to invest in education has reconstructed an ultra-modern block of classrooms, complete with a mini football pitch and a multi-purpose sports court at Keme Balogun Junior/Senior College in Ibeshe, Ikorodu.
The inauguration of the renovated structure took place at Ikorodu on Wednesday where Sanwo-olu made it known that educating the state children matters and conducive facilities is worth investing in to encourage them achieve the impossible.
According to the governor: “These newly renovated and constructed facilities will serve as a catalyst for change, offering our children the tools they need to compete in an increasingly globalised world.
“By building 18 new classrooms, renovating existing structures, and adding modern amenities like a food canteen, an Intro-Tech block, and sports fields, we are creating an environment where our students can truly thrive academically, socially, and physically.
“This school reconstruction conveys a powerful message to our community: that education matters, our children matter, and their future is worth investing in.
“I hope this inspires parents to prioritise their children’s education and encourages our students to dream bigger. Together, we are building a brighter future for all.” He assured.
