The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in a post revealed that his administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The City UK & FCDO for the state development and attraction of more investors.
The governor’s post read: “we signed an MoU with The City UK & FCDO to develop the Lagos International Financial Centre (LIFC). This game-changing initiative will position Lagos as a premier financial hub in sub-Saharan Africa.
“Lagos is building a stronger, more dynamic financial ecosystem. This initiative will attract global investors, strengthen Nigeria’s economy, and foster innovation. With strong partners and shared expertise, we are shaping the future of finance right here in our city.
“I appreciate the visionaries making this possible: EnterpriseNGR, The City UK, FCDO, and our esteemed partners.
“Together, we are putting Lagos on the world map as a financial powerhouse, driving trade, investment, and economic transformation.” He expatiated.
