It’s appalling that we’re struggling financially and fighting among ourselves after putting our lives online and some paid the supreme price, while corrupt politicians prioritize their own interests. As veterans, we should unite and express our discontent to the president because our serving colleagues are not in a position to speak out for us and we all know this. It’s not a crime to voice out rather than keeping it in mind which is more dangerous. We demand decisive action to address the country’s problems. If not, we’ll be forced to confront the system, no matter the consequences. It’s unacceptable that a select few politicians thrive at the expense of the rest of us. If saying this truth will make the government uncomfortable or send people after me so be it, this is an honest advice from a patriot. I’m not in a class of those who grumble and failed to speak truth to power.
