Argentina Tops Latest FIFA Rankings as Morocco Leads Africa; Nigeria Drops Out of Top Five

FIFA has just released the latest FIFA rankings, with Argentina maintaining the top spot after a series of impressive wins.

Morocco remains the highest-ranked African team, moving up two places to 12th in the world. Senegal, the second-ranked team on the continent, drops from 17th to 19th in the global standings.

Despite Nigeria’s disappointing outing, the Super Eagles climb one place in the FIFA rankings to occupy the 43rd position. However, they lose their place in Africa’s top five as Ivory Coast jumps five spots to 41st, securing the fifth position on the continent.
