FIFA has just released the latest FIFA rankings, with Argentina maintaining the top spot after a series of impressive wins.

Morocco remains the highest-ranked African team, moving up two places to 12^th in the world. Senegal, the second-ranked team on the continent, drops from 17^th to 19^th in the global standings.

Despite Nigeria’s disappointing outing, the Super Eagles climb one place in the FIFA rankings to occupy the 43^rd position. However, they lose their place in Africa’s top five as Ivory Coast jumps five spots to 41^st, securing the fifth position on the continent.
