Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Fiorentina are set to extend David De Gea’s contract for another season. The new deal will be valid until June 2026.

De Gea has played 28 league matches and kept 10 clean sheets, boasting a save ratio of 80.6%.

The contract extension will include a salary increase. Since his move to Fiorentina, he has become a fan favourite and is regarded as one of the players of the season in Serie A.
