The Guinness World Record in a post on X wishes the founder of ‘chess in the Slum’ founder, Tunde Onakoya ‘best of Luck’ as he officially embark on his second attempt at breaking world record.
Onakoya had in April 2024 completed a 60-hour chess marathon in Times Square New York alongside US chess master Shawn Martinez, surpassing the 56-hour record previously set in 2018 by Norwegians Hallvard Haug Flatebø and Sjur Ferkingstad.
