Renowned Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam1 publicly expressed his deep disappointment over fellow Fuji legend, Alhaji Kollington Ayinla’s absence at his mother’s burial ceremony.
Kwam1 revealed this in an interview on Agbletu Tv, he recounted on how he had gone above and beyond to support Kollington during a similar moment of loss, footing the entire bill for Kollington’s mother’s burial and rallying high-profile guests to attend the event.
He stated, “I am so angry with Alhaji Kollington because he never showed up to offer his condolences when I lost my mum. When his own mother passed away, I supported him to give his mum a befitting burial. I brought a lot of dignitaries to the burial for him and I handled all the finances 100%. See how he paid me back.”
According to the Fuji musician, the excuse that Kollington had called him and didn’t get a response from him didn’t sit well with him, leaving him feeling angry and hurt.
Kwam1 further questioned the reason for such a gesture of disregard from someone he once held in high regard, especially as Kollington is currently in good health and based in Nigeria.
“He is in Nigeria, hale and hearty and the only excuse he gave was that he called me and I didn’t pick up. Am I not supposed to be angry?” He questioned
