Tinubu’s only real sin was helping Buhari become president and his last offence is that he religiously kept his campaign promise; to build on Buhari’s legacy. To be honest, he’s doing it well. In fact, he deserves an award for it.
He inherited Buhari’s lopsided system and simply passed it on to his own people. Same Nigeria, Different driver but Same madness.😏
Buhari gave Nigeria to Fulanis like it was his family inheritance. Nobody coughed. For 8 years, every sensitive post went North at Fulani’s doorstep. We shouted small, but the man deafened his ears and focused on Niger Republic.
INEC, CBN, Army, DSS, NNPC and FINANCE, he shared it all among his kinsmen like birthday rice.
Tinubu with just two years in office and you want to burn the country. One appointment and your phones are shaking. INEC Chairman is Yoruba and you’re suddenly choking, your blood pressure is rising, but when Buhari gave it to a Fulani man, your voice went on sabbatical.
Are you people okay?🙄
You want Tinubu to appoint a Northerner as INEC chairman so they can remove him in 2027? Are you people that naïve or you think Tinubu is Peter Obi?
Do you want him to hand over the remote control of his future to the same people that rigged the whole country into coma?
You people even forget history too fast.
Remember that Kemi Adeosun? The one that Buhari’s government chased out with NYSC drama?
After her, who took over? A Fulani woman. Not another Yoruba o. Not Igbo, Isoko/Urhobo, Ijaw or Ishan, but a Fulani woman. Yet you clapped and stayed mute. You even said “she’s very competent.” Now Tinubu puts a Yoruba man in INEC and you’re foaming.
Where was your voice when Buhari made it a Fulani Republic?
Did he give INEC to a Yoruba man?
Did he give NNPC to an Ijaw or Urhobo man?
Did he hand over the CBN to an Igbo economist? No.
He built a Fulani federal government and told the rest of us to wait for our turn.
Well, the turn has turned. Now it’s Tinubu’s time. Call it Turn by Turn Nigeria Ltd. The shareholders change every 8 years. If Buhari didn’t die from tribalism, Tinubu too will not.
If you don’t like it, wait for your tribe’s turn.
We are not defending Tinubu. We’re only reminding you of your silence when it was your people sharing the national cake. Don’t suddenly grow a conscience because your tribe no longer holds the knife.
This hypocrisy stinks. Abeg, Power is not forever, but while it lasts, everyone protects their own. That’s the game Buhari played. Tinubu is only playing it back.
So, to the North, lick your wounds the way the South licked theirs without noise. We all know Nigeria is not a nation. It’s a chessboard of tribe and power.
If we truly want a country, then let competence replace tribe. Then and only then will Nigeria move forward. Until then, Turn by Turn Nigeria Ltd is still in business.🥴
