Virgil Van Dijk Extends earning double as he extend contract with Liverpool.

Virgil Van Dijk has signed a new two-year contract extension with Liverpool, keeping him at the club until June 2027. Van Dijk is expected to earn around £400,000 with the Reds, as against his 220,000 earning. A release clause isn’t included in the deal.

Van Dijk joined Liverpool in 2018. He has scored 27 goals, provided 8 assists, and amassed 115 clean sheets for the club.

He has won all the prestigious trophies at club level with Liverpool, which include the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and the FA Community Shield.

He was named club captain in 2023 following the departure of English midfielder Jordan Henderson.

By the time he sees out his current deal, Van Dijk will have spent nine years at Liverpool.
