“We Are Exploring All Available Legal Options To Ensure That Justice Is Done”— Human Right Lawyer Speak Of Alabi’s Predicament

Public interest and Human Right Activist Inibehe Effiong in a post disclosed that they “are exploring all available legal options to ensure that justice is done” regarding Quadri Yusuf Alabi’s predicament, the teen in Peter Obi iconic photo during 2023 presidential campaign, handed over to the police by street hoodlums.

Recall that TheSubstance News reported that Alabi has been at the Kirikiri prison since January when he was handed over to the police by street hoodlum for allegedly not giving them from the money made from his chanced encounter with Peter Obi in 2023.

The teen who is barely 18 had been to court twice and on those occasions, an activist in person of Hassan Nurudeen, the co-founder of Ray of Hope Prison Outreach, was there with him, it came to public notices when she couldn’t handle it on her own anymore, she had to cry out for help on the boy’s behalf, involving the human right lawyer.

Effiong also revealed that: “delegation from the Obedient Movement came on a visit to the Kirikiri custodial centre to check up on Quadri.

The Human Rights Lawyer’s post read: “We visited Quadri Yusuf Alabi again today at the Minimum Security Custodial Centre, Kirikiri. I proceeded straight to the Kirikiri custodial centre after concluding a matter in Ogun State. Quadri’s mother and sister were with us.

“While at the custodial centre, we received a delegation from the Obedient Movement led by its Interim National Coordinator, @YunusaTanko He was accompanied by other leaders of the Movement, namely: Morris Monye, Dr. Moses Paul, and Serah Ibrahim.

“They came to visit Quadri. Let me use this opportunity to specially appreciate the Co-Founder of Ray of Hope Prison Outreach, Ms. Hassana Nurudeen (@Hausa_girl) for all her efforts.

“She is the one who discovered that Quadri was being incarcerated and drew public attention to his predicament. She was equally with us today.

“We Are Exploring All Available Legal Options To Ensure That Justice Is Done” he added
