Champions League-Winning Defender Jonny Evans Draws The Curtain On Professional Football

Jonny Evans has retired from professional football at the age of 38. The former Northern Ireland international has brought an end to an illustrious career.

He played for Manchester United, Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City, and Belgian side Royal Antwerp. He made 537 club appearances and earned 107 caps for his country.

Evans won a total of 15 trophies: a Football League Championship, three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two League Cups, three Community Shields, a UEFA Champions League title, and a FIFA Club World Cup.
