The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board –JAMB— has invited the founder of Educare, , one of the top educational platforms in Africa, Mr. Alex Onyia to assist in conducting thorough review of the just concluded examination.
This is coming after large outcry by the candidates that the examination board failed them below their capabilities.
The board released results on May 9, with 75% scoring below 200 out of its maximum 400 mark, with over two million candidate that registered for the computer-based examinations.
According to JAMB only 4,756 candidates scored more than 320, while 12, 414 scored 300 and above.
However parents and some candidates have cried out over social media platform demanding for explanation for the poor result.
The Educare CEO in a post on X concerning the invite wrote: “I received a formal invitation from JAMB for us to transparently conduct a thorough review of the 2025 JAMB exam. The review date is next tomorrow (Thursday).
“After our review, I will publicly share my findings.
“If you have been troubled, keep calm. I’m hopeful that something positive will come out of it. You burnt candles, had sleepless nights, had high hopes. We will not fail you!” Onyia promised.
