Lucas Vázquez to Leave Real Madrid at the End of the Season

Lucas Vázquez is set to part ways with Real Madrid at the end of the season, bringing an end to a remarkable journey with the club.

The Spanish winger joined Real Madrid in 2007 at the age of 15 and has since made over 300 appearances for Los Blancos. During his time with the club, he has won more than 20 major trophies, including five UEFA Champions League titles.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Vázquez has been informed that his contract will not be renewed—a decision that follows Real Madrid’s signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold. The 32-year-old is expected to remain with the squad through the FIFA Club World Cup before making his exit.

Vázquez is widely admired by Real Madrid fans for his loyalty, professionalism, and versatility. He consistently stepped up whenever called upon and never voiced complaints about limited game time.

While his next destination remains uncertain, Vázquez reportedly has offers on the table from Major League Soccer, the Saudi Pro League, and Serie A clubs in Italy.
