Real Madrid Close to Sealing Dean Huijsen Transfer

Real Madrid are on the verge of completing the signing of Dean Huijsen after reaching an agreement with Bournemouth.

The Spanish giants will activate the defender’s £50 million release clause, which will be paid in three installments and is expected to be fully settled by the end of 2026.

Despite strong interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City, the 20-year-old has chosen Real Madrid and already accepted a five-year contract offer.

According to Spanish outlet Diario AS, the transfer has been approved by incoming head coach Xabi Alonso, who has reportedly spoken directly with Huijsen to outline the club’s long-term project.

The news has sparked excitement among Madrid fans, with Huijsen widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in world football.

Known for his composure in defense and ability to contribute in transition, the Spanish international has quickly established himself as a top prospect.

Huijsen made his senior debut for Spain at just 19, featuring in their UEFA Nations League quarter-final victory over the Netherlands in March. He has made 30 appearances for Bournemouth in the Premier League this season, starting 25 matches.
