Senegal Call Up 26 Players for June Friendlies Against Ireland and England

Senegal has called up 26 players for the June friendlies against Ireland and England. These matches were clearly scheduled by the Fédération Sénégalaise de Football to ensure their players remain competitive ahead of the World Cup qualifiers and the Africa Cup of Nations later this December.

Captain Sadio Mané was not called up by head coach Pape Thiaw. When asked by a journalist about Mané’s absence, he stated: “It’s a personal decision on his part.”

Eighteen-year-old FC Metz striker Idrissa Gueye has received his first call-up to the national team.
