U.S. Rep Massie Calls For An End To U.S. Military Aid To Israel, Says Nothing Can Justify Number Of Civilian Causalities

United State Representative Thomas Massie has publicly advocated for the cessation of U.S. military aid to Israel, citing the high number of civilian casualties in Gaza over the last two years.

According to the Rep there is no excuse for the number of deaths and causalities in the past two years between Israelis and the Palestinians, he wrote submitting that all assistance to Israel should cease.

In his words: “Nothing can justify the number of civilian casualties (tens of thousands of women and children) inflicted by Israel in Gaza in the last two years. We should end all U.S. military aid to Israel now.”

His statements have sparked reactions on social media, with some users throwing their weight behind his submission while others are simply against it

When Katt Rambo with the handle @Leftocracy disagreed with his opinion arguing that, the aid should continue till either Hamas terrorist group is wiped out or surrender fully: “I am with you as soon as Hamas is gone. Until Hamas is there, Israel has no choice. If Mexico was run by a government whose sole purpose, even in writing, was to destroy our country, you would be irresponsible to stop.

“Now, if the Palestinians would stand against Hamas, which they have begun to do, and arrest Hamas and have a sane head (seemingly like happened in Syria) I would agree with you”

Still on his stance Massie had in a reply with statics dead women and children : “Sounds like you feel the death of 50,000 women and children is justified, and that more such deaths are necessary? I disagree.”

Elizabeth Barcohana: “Nothing can justify you constantly lying to the American People and taking up space in the Halls of Congress while you do nothing but obstruct President Trump’s mandate.

Robert Spencer: “What’s your source for these casualty figures? Hamas? And you trust them because…?”

The Republican Congressman Massie called for a full suspension of military aid to Israel with a lot of people throwing their weights behind him and wondered what the country has gained in return despite the ceaseless aids to the Israeli nation.

@Rothbard1776: “This principled and truly America First position [which is completely in line with the views of our Founding Fathers] is one of the main reasons why “Conservatives” want to throw Massie out of the party. That’s an indictment on them, not him.”

@DigitalWarCrime: “We should end our alliance with Israel or at least ask for something in return. What do they provide the UNITED STATES? We give them billions and fight their wars, what do they give us?

@AjAqrabawi: “Israel drains American society like a parasitic leech, siphoning billions in taxpayer dollars every year with zero return. Demanding an end to this one-sided exploitation is common sense and it’s why they attack @RepThomasMassie for simply defending his voters’ interests.”

The war which clock 600 days began on 7 October 2023 when Hamas launched coordinated armed incursions on Israel from the Gaza Strip.

The US has been a major contributor to Israel providing significant military aid, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) report, the United States is the main supplier of armaments to Israel, Since 1992, it has provided Israel with $6.6 billion worth of equipment under the Excess Defense Articles program, including weapons, spare parts, weapons, and simulators

However Its imports have also dropped by around 2.3% in the last five years, compared to the preceding period.  Crucially, three nations account for almost all of Israel’s weapons supply: the United States, Germany and Italy.
