Atlético Madrid Captain Koke Extends Contract Until 2026

Atlético Madrid captain Koke has extended his contract to stay at the club until June 30, 2026.

The 33-year-old is the most experienced player in Atleti colours, having made his first-team debut in 2009. He holds the record for the most appearances in Atlético Madrid’s history, with 681 matches.

Koke has won nine trophies at his boyhood club: two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, two UEFA Europa Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, and one Spanish Super Cup.

The Spanish international still has a lot to offer. He featured in 44 matches for Los Colchoneros this past season and remained a crucial part of their setup.
