Afrobeats superstar Davido has taken to social media to allege that security personnel at an international nightclub attempted to murder him during a recent outing, sparking major concerns and calls for accountability.

The singer, currently on vacation in Ibiza with his manager, Asa Asika and close associate Cubana Chiefpriest, shared on his social media images of the security staff involved, alleging a violent confrontation.

In an Instagram post he said: “@Hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!!! All of yall goin down!!” and vowed that “justice must be served.”

“Y’all know I’m not one to bring stuff to the internet, but this is beyond me. The security at Hiibizaofficial tried to take my life. This was more than just a misunderstanding, this was attempted murder.”

As of now, the nightclub in question has not issued any public response, though international

press outlets are actively covering the developing story.
