Deadly Bombings Rock Kano and Borno, Death Toll MountsJune 21, 2025

At least 5 people have lost their lives in a bombing incident in Kano state’s Kumbotso local government area, with reports emerging of another attack in Borno state claiming over 10 lives.

In a separate incident, a blackout-related attack was reported in Konduga local government area of Borno state, where a female bomber allegedly attacked a dinner market, killing 10 people, according to ASP Nahum Daso, Police Command’s spokesperson. However, other sources suggest the death toll may be higher, exceeding 25 fatalities.
