Nico Williams has reached a full agreement to join FC Barcelona on a six-year contract, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Barcelona had shown strong interest in Williams last season, but the winger opted to remain at Athletic Club to help the team secure European football. This summer, however, the player prioritized a move to the Catalan giants, and the deal is now in its final stages.

Williams is expected to earn an annual salary between €7 million and €8 million.

Barcelona are now working on triggering his €62 million release clause. Discussions are ongoing with Athletic Club regarding the structure and terms of the payment.
