A Bitcoin ETF linked to Donald Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, is making waves as it seeks approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

This move, aims to blend Trump’s brand with the booming cryptocurrency world, potentially offering investors a chance to trade Bitcoin similarly to stocks on mainstream exchanges.

NYSE Arca submitted a 19b-4 filing to the SEC to propose a rule change that would allow this ETF to be listed and traded.

The proposed fund would track the price of Bitcoin, similar to existing spot Bitcoin ETFs.

The application was initiated by Yorkville America Digital in partnership with Trump Media, while Foris DAX Trust Company is set to serve as the fund’s custodian if approved.
