An Indian British national named Vishwashkumar Ramesh from Leicester, who was in seat 11a, is the only survivor of the Air India plane that crashed shortly after takeoff walking away with just a few scratches.
“For a while I felt like I was going to die too. It all happened right in front of my eyes, Two cabin crews died right in front of me. There were bodies all around me, there were pieces of the plane all around me.
“But when I opened my eyes, I saw that I was alive. “Someone grabbed hold of me and put me in an ambulance. I don’t know how I survived.”
The 40-year-old suffers injuries on his face, chest, legs and hand.
