“I’m sorry, I’m not going to make it. I love y’all,” were Julian Ryan’s last words.

When Ryan realized 911 wouldn’t be able to save them in time as water rushed into the home, he punched a glass window so they could escape to the roof.

The glass nearly severed his arm, cutting an artery.

Fighting through the injury, Ryan successfully got his family on the roof.

He sadly passed away from blood loss due to the injury to his arm.

His body was found hours later.
