Michael Posner is an American singer and song writer whom the weight of his album success lay heavily on him. He was unable to deal the spotlight, he had to result to drug usage, which resulted in depression. 

His career began in 2009 when he released a mixtape that he had recorded in his college dorm room on iTunesU. Shortly after its release, “A Matter of Time” hit Number 1 on iTunesU

On his 37 birthday the singer revealed in a post that he took a break from stardom to walk across the US When fame left him feeling empty, but had to document the difference between his 26-year-old and the 37-year-old who does not look to anyone validation of his person, however had to build relationships with people who matter most in his life.
